Administration(IBA), University of Dhaka will be held on the next November 12. Application Package can be obtained from October 18 to November 9 from Dhaka University Campus (Curyon Hall) branch of Agrani Bank Limited. Completed application should be submitted to the BBA program office between 9:00 a.m and 5:00 p.m. on every working days -saturdays through thursdays. The last date of submission of application is november 09.


Eligibility
All applicants must have completed the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or their equivalents in aû filed of study. However, if an applicant has taken O-Level exam, he or she must have passed at least five subjects including mathematics. In case of A-level exam, an applicant must have passed at least two subjects. It is important to note that applicants with O-Level and A-level certificates must have a minimum of grade D in aû Subject.


The minimum qualifying point is five for all applicants. The point determination is laid out in the table below.

Letter grades of O- Level and A- Level Subjects are converted into grade points (A=4, B=3, C=2, D = 1). ‡rade point average (‡PA) is calculated by averaging the grade points of the five best grades for O- and the two best greades for A-Level.


For all other certificates, equivalence will be determined by the equivalence committee of IBA.
Selection Procedure.


All Bangladeshi applicants must take the admission test. The test has two components - Written Assessment and Communication Test. The written Assessment Component evaluates applicants aptitude in Language, Mathematics and analytical ability. To qualify in the Written Test, an applicant must obtain a minimum qualifying score in each of the above areas. For the Communication Test component, applicants will be selected on the basis of their performance in the Written Assessment component.


The final selection for admission will be based on the scores obtained by an applicant in the Written Assessment and the Communication Test.


Foreign nationals with a score of 1700 or more in SAT Reasoning Test (with at least 550 in Critical Reading and Math and at least 500 in Writing) may be exempted from the Written Assessment, but must face the IBA Communication Test. The final selection for admission will be based on the Communication Test score, SAT Reasoning Test score and academic references. Notable that such exemption decisions will be made by IBA on a case-to-case basis.

Application fee is Tk. 550. The application package may also be obtained directly from the BBA Program Office by mail, In that case, applicants should send a Bank Draft for Tk. 550 drawn in favour of `BBA Admission, IBA' a self-addressed return envelope (si“e 10" x 8) affixed with Taka 40 postage stamp. Mentionable that BBA Program Office is not responsible for aû postal delay or missing.


The Admission Test will begin at 10 a.m and candidates must report to to the respective test center at. 9:30 a.m.
